i splurged & ordered a beco today.
yup. never thought i'd get so excited over a baby carrier.

august has had a on & off again runny nose since sunday. teeth, i suppose. she's been too awesome lately so i know she can't be sick. i did call the doctor, though.

i'd love to know what crawled up my dogs butt & died. he smells like hell.

I am getting a pedicure right now! First one in 5 months and some days.. Gross I know. But what can you do when your baby won't take a bottle!

August is with my mama right now. I haven't heard anything yet so I guess she isn't screaming her head off.


I've been trying to diet but my body can't function on 3 meals a day. Breastfeeding is so demanding. If I don't snack in between meals I feel like death by the time dinner rolls around. I did lose 3 pounds in two days so breastfeeding does have an up side.

I started hiking again.. with a baby on my chest. I've been twice this week and every muscle in my body is sore. I love it.

Question! - when you diet how often do you weigh yourself? Daily? Weekly?

Weren't Avent pads $9.99 for 100? Only 60 now for the same price?! Bummer.
